Enterprise Insurance Introduces ‘Same Day Claim Payment’ For Motor Insurance
Enterprise Insurance has introduced a ‘Same Day Claim Payment’ package for motor claims as part of the company’s resolve to demystify claim settlements by insurance companies in the country. The many challenges faced by Ghana’s insurance sector has largely being blamed on the lack of public trust resulting in the slow pace at which claim payments are made in the sector.
According to the Executive Director of Enterprise Insurance, Kwame Ofori, this innovation will complement moves to expand the insurance market. He was speaking at the official launch of the ‘Same Day Claim Payment’ package for motor claims in Accra.
Mr Ofori said, “This service is not only a laudable service innovation, it has the potential to completely disrupt claim payment in the industry as we know it.
With the introduction of the Same Day Claim Payment, Enterprise Insurance has made a bold statement to our customers and the general public about the company’s financial robustness and readiness to go the extra mile to meet the expectations of our customers,” he said.
On her part, Head of Reinsurance at the National Insurance Commission, Esther Armah was confident the Same Day Claim Payment package for motor claims will go a long way to challenge other insurance firms to come up with more innovative products that would help deepen insurance penetration.
She said, “This innovation if executed properly, will go a long way clear of the negative public perception had about insurance firms.”
By this new system, clients are required to get their repair estimates to the company to have their claim payments in less than an hour’s time.
The introduction of the ‘Same Day Claim payment further demonstrated Enterprise Insurance's Commitment to prompt claim payment thereby making EIC the insurer of choice.
Enterprise Insurance is a subsidiary of Enterprise Group Limited (EGL) incorporated in 1924. The company is currently the only CIMG hall of fame member independently rates A+ for claims paying ability.
